The House Energy and Commerce Committee has released a discussion document proposing measures to accelerate cures in the U.S., focusing on modernizing clinical trials through Bayesian statistics and adaptive trial designs.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee yesterday released an initial discussion document outlining some specific proposals with the common goal of accelerating the pace of cures in the United States.  

Key proposal language within the discussion document and draft bill related to clinical trial efficiency and modernization can be found within "Title III - Modernizing Clinical Trials" and specifically "Subtitle B - Broader Application of Bayesian Statistics and Adaptive Trial Designs".
